Stock shifter assembly
Hey guys my younger brother somehow broke the screw on the shift rod that the shift knob screws onto. I'm looking to get my hands on a new shift rod with that screw intact for a 2005 ss/sc. I bought 1 from richsoucie because he said it was complete and got it, and no screw so I need another 1. Please pm me if you have 1

the screw was there the shifter was off of an early 05 and did not come from the factory with a screw the dealer tapped and threaded and installed a screw and locktite as per the tsb on the issue see
the shifter you purchased will work as long as you are gonna change the rod too if i knew you only wanted the screw than i would have not sold this to you and i have no problem sending you a refund as long as you send the item back.
Here's the info you should keep handy when going to the dealership. Some of the dealers probably haven't had to mess with this one yet...
PIC3619 is the bulletin number. It's just a regular M5x12 self tapping screw. The Loctite products are listed below with the 5 digit Loctite number also:
270 - 21436 1 2/3 oz container
7471 - 19267 1.75 oz container
7649 - 19269 1.75 oz container
Hope this helps some of you guys out that have to keep going back to the dealer for this over and over.

so lemme get this right...you need the shift rod that is tapped for a screw AND the screw itself? Or just the screw to hold the knob down? I have an entire assembly and I'm sure I have the screw around here somewhere
