Has about 30k miles on it. Great condition. Was going to use it on my turbo build, but turns out I will be able to use the one that's on my car anyways. I HAVE DONE NOTHING TO IT (did not weld the clutch or anything, as I do not need it). Asking price is $120 + shipping OR a straight up trade if you have any of the following:

-AEM UEGO w/wideband O2 sensor

-35mm wastegate (prefer TIAL but I'll take anything really)

-OTTP Return Style Fuel System (obviously I'll throw down some cash for this too.)

why do people swap alternators when sc? is this to avoid modifying the bracket?

 

cuz he is going from SC to Turbozzz

 

don't know how to answer this honestly. I would imagine it maybe has something to do amperage. It might have to do with the fact that you have to use the lsj alternator bracket? not really sure. For a turbo swapped lsj, we have to modify them because they only spin in one direction.

u dont have to change them. just get stock one welded so it spins the other way

What about going from NA to SC? Would the alternator still spin the wrong way?

 

your alternator spins bi-directional. I can't honestly answer why boosted 2.2 or 2.4's prefer to switch to the lsj alternator. Probably to fit the alternator bracket. IDK.
