Get a stock TC for ~15K..or you could go with something like this....

11K
2005 Commemorative Edition Srt-4 with only 28,000 miles
few minor details, 161/200 made best track time 11.8 @ 128
Dyno was around 420hp@430trq

Just an idea, I knew you was thinking about getting one. This is one of the cheaper ones. If you want to go all out there is a 9second Srt-4 (9.98@144mph) for sell for 22K OBO.

i like that srt, clean.

im stuck between gettin this red srt for 6,800 with 90k or gettin a red ss/tc for 15k with 13k. money is kinda tight right now so im leanin towards the srt because its cheaper and i can still have money to pay off bills but if i get a good deal on the ss/tc maybe like 12,500 or 13 ill get that one

90K is getting up there if they are hard miles. Though you can do a complete build on it and head work and have a car than can handle serious power for 10K or less.

What year is your cobalt? What did you do that effed up your sleeves? You can't be pushing that much HP.
Im interested in the gauge cluster!

it makes me sad too, but time to move on to a factory turbo'd car

its a 2006 and as far as how the sleeve blew i have no clue. 20psi with a 10:1 compression ratio can take a toll on a engine i guess lol. im wondering if i stressed it cause since my 3rd gear is goin out i was racing and shifted from 2nd to 4th and just put too much of a load...i have no clue. it mightve been detonation as well since the car started sputtering before it went

Oh... stock internals.
It says BUILT in your sig so I figured you had upgraded internals.
But the gauge cluster is plug and play with an 07 right?

Ahhhh, yeah should have gone with the 8.9 pistons, less stress on the motor. Just the SS/SC cluster, I have everything else.

IDK, 500 whp is tossed around a lot, though with a bad tune and beating on it, it can blow at 300whp. You know how all that goes. Though I showed you that link to my tuner running a 10.6 and trapping 138mph on stock internals with his set-up not even 100% so, it's safe to say it's quite a bit.
