Speaking of. And off topic. But did HPT ever come out with a solution to solve the idle issues? And that was the culprit in the failed cylinder, correct?

eh it ended up being a broken connection on the evap solonoid, when it went to purge it created a huge vacuum leak, causing the car to flood itself out at idle.
found that out too late lol.

Oh really. My idle has been pretty steady lately. but for a while prior to changing plugs and pulling injectors my idle was fairly rough. Would drop to about a 13.0-13.2 AFR, then lean out to 16.XX and back to stoich 14.7

I'll be keeping that in mind when I swap to the 79's for the turbo swap next month.

PM the OP. I don't think it's sold.

We're just having a convo now.

Think of it as free thread bumps.

How its the idle have to stay at 14.x? or have to jump around? Because someone tell me that is normal to the afr jump around at idle.

Actual AFR at idle will bounce. Mine usually goes between 14.5-14.9 at idle.

We're talking about something completely different when swapping to bigger injectors.

depends on what boost you'll be running.
I was running a .028 gap on a 2 step colder iridium plug @22.15 psi and up. only time the car saw less than that was when I was breaking in the new motor
