nope bringing the car to the police station today and having them test my exhaust and they cant say no, i heard by law they have to test it.

 

good news guys, brought the car to the police station, well this is what went down, First i asked what is the law on exhaust systems on cars, and the reply from the officer was, "typically speaking any kind of modified exhaust is illegal but i really dont care about it and dont pull anyone over for it" i said "ok can you tell me if my exhaust is too loud", and another cop walked in a cop i knew(the guy is really good friends with my dad) well i told him the story and stuff and he goes "listen if u start the car right where it is and i can hear it in here with door shut its too loud", i started it and he opens the door and goes "thats it?", "i go yeah y?", he said "ive heard way louder, is it legal?", i said "yes i think so", hes said "alright just carry a paper around saying that it is legal and youll be set"

Anyone who has to tell everyone hes mature, probably isn't as mature as he thinks he is, besides my sister was 20 in college and had her car taken away from her.

Btw they prolly pulled you over and gave you **** cuz your cars red, I'm 17 too and i think its bullshit for people to give you **** for asking a legit question

Hate me all you want i guess, but im in agreeance with the guys above about age.

I remember what it was like to be 16-17, and ive always been a very mature person for my age.....and i can tell you with all certainty that i was a great driver, and very mature on the road.



then when you get a few years under your belt you realise you were just another reckless kid like all the rest.

Its not your fault. were all like it. and when you too get a few more years out of the way youll look back just like most other people do, and realise that everyone figures they got **** all figured out at 16.

I honestly dont blame you. I blame your parents for being stupid enough to put a teenager in a car with this much power.

lol i got my first car when i got my permit... it was an 88 rx-7... i then bought a v6 camaro when i was 16 and finally got my ss/sc in september at age 19
