WTB: JBP Header

I've done the research. The header will out perform my motor.

Please pm me if you have one.

I have done the research. I know what happened. The company made a good header, did a group buy and made way too many way too Fast And the quality went to hell.

Badmad looks just as bad to me. How many people have piste that they are rusting already.. I've seen a few.

Troy, Corey gave me all his stock lsj stuff.

If the thread continues to bash on my request for a part I will delete it and create a new one. J didn't ask for everyones opinion, this is not the performance threads....

I don't think half the people even realize I'm a 2.2L that probably won't reach the maximum flow of he header before the internals give out..

I'm not being difficult. I just hate how all the people jump on the band wagon because of the group buy. Have those that are hating on it right now purchased one and put it on the car? I at least have first hand experience with one that was pre-group buy.

I gotta say, get the Bad Mab. If you did research you must also see the loss of hp but best of luck with whatever you decide. But google pwns you on JBP, google them, see what people say. It is pretty, it sounds good, it steals power.

I researched the mess out of that and even discussed it in PM with previous owners on this site. Best of luck though in finding one, they do sound nice, and I'm sure it'll sell for cheap.

I've seen dyno sheets that show gain. Let's see said dyno sheets that will prove for a 2.2L that this won't be an improvement over factory half moon header...

Don't listen to these guys, OP. It's not their fault they don't know any better, they just go by what is popular on the forums. GL finding one.

If I had a nickel for everyone that told me I wouldn't be anywhere near 300hp on a stock exhaust...

I just hate how people jump on threads like this. How do they expect to have more vendors when those we have they bash in circles until they leave? The corvette and mustang guys have so much support... I bet have of it is the age of the owner. Obviously the money part but they don't tend to beat the horse after it dies

The header will work good for you. It's not like he's shooting for HUGE power. Just an simple sc setup with this header will perform good and sound excelent. People here sometimes Ill tell ya

I have the JBP on my car now
if your going for a simple moderately modded car the jbp will be fine
i have a 2.7 pulley on my blower and still dont have any problems with the header.
Justy an FYI, ITS SOUNDS AMAZING WITH MY 3 in CATLESS EXHAUST

yea, my JBP is sitting pretty on my motor (thanks 100%meth) with no power loss. hmm i went thru this as well Steve. People read on the internet, and they become experts with a header they never bought nor used. Some one has to have one somewhere. good luck.

i ran this header for a while. i had the very first one ever sold. it was BA. sounded sick as hell. wish i still had it actually. ppl get so cought up with what other ppl say (especially some of the better known names on the forums) just because a few ppl had bad experiences with JBP or that header inparticular or for that matter any performance part by any company dosnt make it the law. i say get it and enjoy the way it sounds and performs.

edit: since you've done yur research youll know that not all the ones from the group buy were bad. just keep an eye out for choppy bends in the primaries and bad welds around the collector.
