Wanted WTB Stock LNF Downpipe
Dont quote me on this but you may be able to have a CARB/OBD2 compliant cat added to your current DP and it may pass that way. Might have to talk to a muffler shop to be sure. The stock LNF DP has 2 cats on it so I am not sure if you need one or two to be legal that way. I am sure most smog guys wont know they had 2.
my friend in California had his cat stolen and insurance replaced it with a dorman and his car passes. so i dont see why you couldn't weld in a cat that is carb compliant.
may have to keep the receipt to verify the cat part#

Just to let you know, stock LNF down pipes are very much in demand right now because of the increased value in precious metals in the cats. I've read they can fetch 5-700 USD. Needless to say they are probably hard to find right now.
My car doesn't pass emissions with my Hahn hi-flow catted down pipe either. I've always had to show up with a stock dp to pass emissions here in Colorado.

Anyway, just curious if you have to do anything to your tune when you get it smogged with the stock DP. My car is stock, with just a drop-in K&N air filter from a previous owner. I have a tune from KMO43, but I have to swap back to the stock tune for the emissions readiness O2 sensor to show 'Complete'. CA only allows the EVAP monitor to be incomplete in order to pass.
