They will work just fine...with an LSJ or custom made crank also. Make sure you read that part. And if you do switch cranks you will have to have a CASE relearn done. But you'll have to get the car running first. What do you plan to tune with? LS2 Edit only works on 07+

My gm build book say that the lsj rods are a direct replacement for stock with aftermarket pistons im reading and doesnt say anything about crank changes. the lobes on the crank are the same. just the lsj is destroked vs the 2.2. the lsj rods have a bigger piston pin hole. wich is why they only work with aftermarket in a 2.2.

and im going with trifecta tune.

yes, we know that. i'm just saying. my personal preference, ESPECIALLY with an engine component such as a set of rods...i would not go used. i would just buy a better after market replacement like manley, pauter, eagle...

Ehh, for the money, since he is doing a very mild build, LSJ rods make good sense. Much cheaper than aftermarket, and just as good for what he wants.

Thank you. I only wana run 12 pounds turbo safely. with a super safe tune. people are doing 10 pounds on stock rods. I just wana do it with alittle more rod for safety reasons.

Heres the issue......the $100-150 youre gonna save buy goin with used rods is gonna all get spent when you have to get custom pistons. Just buy Eagle rods and off the shelf pistons.
