So heres the deal, I just ordered the HAHN Turbo kit for my car, by doing so I will be reflashing my PCM which currently has the Vector Tune on it.
I have a 2006 2.4L LE5 Cobalt SS w/5 spd. This will only work on vehicles with the MANUAL TRANSMISSION!!!.

I am looking for someone that is interested in swapping working PCM's with me in order for them to get one with the Vector Tune on it ($100 for mine with tune, retail $349 from Vector). Or someone with an extra one that they would be willing to sell to me (must be able to verify that it will work on my vehicle).

Yeah, Once mine goes to Hahn for their tune for my turbo kit the vector one will be erased so I thought I'd see if anyone wants the vector tune before it goes

Edit: It would be $100 plus you ship your PCM to me at your expense and I ship my PCM to you at my expense.

 

How long would it take?

When is this going down too...

Nevermind man, I have software updates and stuff, I will just wait and get a custom tune eventually.

Well being that your across the country I would expect it would take a good 5-7 days to ship unless we paid for 2 day or something like that.
I can do the trade anytime, but would prefer in the next two weeks.
Once I get the kit I need a PCM to send to HAHN.

what exactly is on the tune? pretty much what does it affect specifically?

Mostly it advances the timing for more power, Premium fuel is required with this tune! I noticed that my throttle response was much sharper than stock also.

I don't see why it wouldn't, we would have to compare PCM serial numbers to make
sure that they are the same.

 

The G5 GT has the LE5, as long as you are manual it will work

Yeah, slapping the Hahn kit on there in less than a month. Should arrive in less than two weeks!

 

things to remember........ were at a different elevation than him. may be to lean to run correctly here in nfld. when vector does those tunes, they tune for the elevation where u live.

 

Nfld is near sea level as am I so it should be fine. Plus there is a certain amount of learning that the PCM does so it can handle me driving from my home @ 400ft ASL
to the mountains 5000+ft ASL.
