how high are your iats getting?

 

well cruising they try to stay around 30-40 degrees above ambient...but then when I sit for a long time or i wot for a sec...they rise real fast to like 150-170 depending on how long i wot it....

 

check your pump

with my 2.8 I see maybe 138ish on a long pull

 

yea thats what i was thinking...I was going to do the hammer mod before actually buying a new one..but i dont know if its working while driving...does yours rise when you sit still...like at a light?

 

mine tend to be 15-25 degrees above ambient wille cruzing but when at lights for a wile it get up to 140-150 and i have a cobra H/E

 

oh really...oh then maybe im tripping...but what happens when you wot yours?..mine shouldnt be getting as high as it does so it would have to be the pump going on and off or something

 

justa suggestion

if its ALWAYS hot where you live and doesn't get below 32* then run more or straight water in your he system.
water transfers heat way better than 50/50 dex and water

and try the hammer mod

 

Your iat2 are fine bro . Plus its when your under WOT it matters not crusing

 

what mix are u running now?
i have watter-wetter and distiled water

 

it freezes up here so it stays at 50/50

sounds like you have the right mix in yours, seeing as you are in a very tepid climate to say the least.

I'm jealous...lol.

 

it gets to ******* hot here in the summer,cant wait to see what the temps will be since its the first summer i will have the interceptor

yea thats what scares me cuz I already heard that if your over 150 iat2's at wot then your going to blow the motor....and i get well over that when i keep on it...
