WTT: IRL's for SS s/c's..
Hey guys,
I have a set of 4 chrome IRL wheels that I'd like to trade for a set of stock SS s/c wheels.
The IRL's are 17x7 and clear the stock brakes as well as the Brembos perfectly fine with no spacers. They're also pretty darn light too for OEM wheels.. All 4 wheels are straight and have no sealing problems or anything. The only issue is the one has some rash on it from the previous owner (the guy who had the Redline). But they're not super noticible. These wheels would be great for a daily-driver or a second set to use the the track. Or even to get sand-blasted and powder-coated. I've ran them this way for a year and a half and they've been just fine.
The tires on them are Bridgestone Potenza G-019 Grid's. They're a very good all-season tire. Used them in PA's blizzard last year, and they performed about as good as you'd hope they would. But they're also great for clear weather as well.. They were all installed about a year ago, and they have plenty of life left on them.
Again, looking to trade for a set of stock SS s/c wheels. With tires. Either OEM gunmetal or OEM chrome. No black, no combos, no re-chrome. Just OEM gunmetal or chrome. If your wheels don't include center caps, neither will mine. I'm looking for these wheels to be suitable for a daily-driver. They don't have to be immaculate, but they much be reasonable. And the tires should have inspection-passing tread on them.
This is for a local-ish trade. not only Pittsburgh, but anywhere within a few hour drive, I'd be glad to come meet you. Just post or PM and we'll go from there.. It doesn't need t ostraight wheels for wheels either. If you have a clean set, I'll add some cash.
Thanks!!
Here's mine from about a month back:
