WTT My HID'S for a Bluer set of HID'S

I have a pair of Light blue Plug and play Xenon Xtreme HID's from Vision Bulbs. I would like to trade them for a Darker blue plug and play set. PM me if there is anyone interested.

Thats odd. I thought 10k somewhere around the brightest blue. 8K is blue, 10K is bright bright blue. Sounds to me like you may have got 6K bulbs on accident. Thats what I ordered and am still happy with them. I have projector headlights now and the projectors have blue lenses so the light output looks different from different angles. IF your looking at the projectors while the lights are on, they look purple.. Im still happy with it though. The light output does look 6k still.

your going to have NO visibility

Just buy new bulbs:
check out this ebay seller, awesome dealer i highly recommend:
http://stores.ebay.com/Kassabian9898...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

either 15k or 30k is going to get the blue you want... probably the 30 & i doubt anyone on here has over 10K bulbs.

lol, you'll have almost zero viability if you go over 10,000K. You might as well just drive around with one hand out the window pointing a flash light.

maybe someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't any bulbs over 10,000k be more purple than blue? to get a darker blue color I'd assume you'd need to get blue bulbs that have a darker blue tint on the glass, not necessarily a higher kelvin temp rating.

your correct 10k is about even with stock brightness so im sure that 15-30K will be garbage for visibility... try looking into film overlays for your entire headlight it might give you the "color" you want without screwing with your visibility...

I had a set of 8,000k in my sunfire and I found visibility was garbage especially in wet road conditions.. I just got a set of PIAA xtreme white plus bulbs (4,000k or 4,300k can't remember which) and find the visibility fantastic much brighter than stock bulbs in any condition, and color is a brilliant white with a hint of blue.

but yeah REIGNftSOLDIER is right, film overlays for the entire housing would probably give you the desired effect. kinda like these....
