I'll have to see if i can find the pics but i have seen a custom bodied lingenfelter vette with a 427TT in it.....over 750 whp. The 06 better be glad it wasn't on of those...

 

man...the more and more i look that those cobras, the more i start to want one...

 

That Cobra's supercharger sounded like it was really struggling. Like it wasn't running it's best, maybe it's just me but it seemed really drawn out and like it was trailing off at the top of each gear.

Still all three cars are ridiculous...

 

Yeah I just listened to it again and on the first run, after the first shift, it sounded like it trailed off or maybe he just backed off of it. On the second run maybe it was just too long of a shift but it sounded like a good delay and like it was winding back down, like losing boost.

 

That Cobra is in my books.

Was the Cobra racing the 02 z06 with 600hp or the 06 z06?

 

I took it as the 06, that was the camera car in the other runs. That's pretty kick ass to run a 500 hp "out of the box" and not just get totally walked on.

 

I did too, but then they started explaining the the mystery of the 02 and I got confused.

I with you it was the 06.

 

the 02 Z06 was 405hp, didnt have 600hp

 

the 02 had the stage 2 Lingenfelter Twin Tubro. 600 whp.

Fast forward the video to 3:10 it tells you so.

The cobra was hanging with the 2006 Z06..not the 2002 lingenfelter vette.

 

It sounded like the cobra wasnt giving it all it had or something...

EDIT: I love the s/c whine on those things...I wish mine sounded like that.

cobra sure did sound like it had belt slip issues. Awesome vid none-the less. Those Z06's are just plain sick.
