Check that out, found it on the internet, thought you guys would enjoy it, i guess the cobra has a smaller pully, intake, exhaust, and no cats...... looks like its got no guts either, but the blower sounds nice, the z06 is sick, second gear and its gone..... the mustang gets to like 150 the second time, and is like 15 car lengths behind..... let me know what you think, the exhaust sounds sick on the vette though....

I had a Ford Explorer or Exploder (Whatever). Damn Engine blew up (threw a rod) with 60k miles on it. So I would never own a Ford, unless it was a 03-04 Cobra!!! Cobras are the real deal.

 

Nice! The z06 is by far the best performing car for the money right now.

I'd love to see someone film a Ford GT new Z06 run!

 

Well, the cobra is a tuna boat. The z06 is a Miata compared to the cobra (weight wise). So, it will win many races against a snake. But, for the money: Cobra>Z06

 

there was one of the Z06, GT and Viper floating around not too long ago. GT had the best times, with the vette a close second and the viper brining up the rear. I hope GM makes the Blue Devil.....OMFG what a car that would be.

 

I think Motor trend and C&D have a shootout on the three domestic HP giants, haven't read which one of the three was crowned king.

BTW,

I work for TNT Express, a European shipping company. We shipped the Blue Devil prototype to the Nuremberg track a few months back. Never saw any pics, or anything, just a master airway bill that was on an aircharter flight that listed C6 BD proto-vehicle as the commodity...and the cool thing is it had it's own master airway bill, which usually a MAWB has hundreds of shipments listed on it.

 

On the other hand, I have a Mustang w/ 184k miles with not so much as a hiccup... and it still gets 4mpg better than it was supposed to stock.

Your feelings are understandable. I'm just saying you can't accurately base an entire company on one experience.

 

Hmm... all the car mags are saying that was a stock C6 Z06 that ran at Nuremburg, but several people have said it was the Blue Devil. Hmm...

BTW, The Ford GT has been the fastest in the 1/4 in all of the tests I've seen. Z06 is the best pure performance for the money, however.

If you want an exotic-smashing, amazing-looking car that no one else has, though, Ford GT is the car to have.

Motor Trend Dec issue. The comparo was more about how the Z06 stack up to the viper...Z06 won. Than they threw in the GT saying basically that it was comparable but a different caliber. I personally think fords are **** but the GT is a crazy car.

The Z06 is the cheapest and almost tied for the fastest.

The Blue devil is supercharged pushing 600-650 hp and 2900lbs. This thing will own all!!!!!

The new Z06 is NOT supercharged. The Ford GT is. Ford GT is 550HP, The Z06 is 500 and the Viper I am unsure of.

 

The 06 Z06 is the faster car by far but that is Still just an 03 just wait till the 06 GT 500 comes out Z06 KILLER!!!!!

the z06 has 505 hp btw...... only motor to be documented at the correct number from gm since like the 60's

ok the more and more that I look up stats about this car the name keeps changing. Some sites were calling it the supercharged C6 Z06. The concept is called the "blue devil" some are saying production model will be called 2008 Corvette SS, but whatever its called it has the LS9 engine which will be a Supercharged 7.0L V-8.
