1991 240sx SR20 project

So i came onto some money, and being the immature and irresponsible 18 year old i am, i decieded to buy another car. My good friend bought it, didnt have the funds to fix it or the car knowledge. No rust on the car anywhere. Lowered on tein coils, brian crower cams, red top, gutted interior, roll cage, etc.. Anywho, just needs the garrett rebuilt (350 bucks) and a seat. Im picking up a Kirkey for dirt cheap and putting it in. Hopefully sending out the turbo tomorrow. Other then that its a race car plain and simple. I love it. Bright colors, the car is me. Other then getting it running and race it, i dont have very man plans for it. Im still learning a lot about them, but i know some. Its practically everything i would make a 240 if i bought one stock. No rb swap, im fine with the sr lol. Motor is good, it starts right up first crank without the turbo (i know its not good for it, just for a few seconds to make sure it ran).

Had to remove the whole exhaust to get it on the car dolley without dragging

Thats my buddies 240 in the background. Getting ready to RB25 swap it once we put in new floor pans.

I ******* love the purple, its staying, i wanna find rims to match the back, and paint them all lime green. I cant wait to get this turbo sent out and back. It needs two new fenders due to a few dings but other then that the body is clean. As for the tails, they pop out exactly like stock s13s, im gonna paint the purple gloss black and tint the red parts, and leave the reverse lights.

painted black the tails will look much better. make sure you get wheels that fit to. it makes 240's look so much better. no need to stretch the tires a bunch but get a decently low offset.

my first car was a 240 and i still have a soft spot for them.

Picked up the blown turbo tonight. Hopefully getting enough cash from scraping **** tomorrow to be able to send it out to have it rebuilt. Found a seat for it already. Called some of my racing buddies, and one was selling his kirkey seat, and said he would give it to me for 20 bucks. Score. Hoping to have it back on the road really really soon. Cant wait to throw it around some corners and see what its got. Now i just need some harnesses.

That turbo won't fit an RB25. Rb's are t3's with a 6 bolt o2 housing. Sr's are t25's with a 5 bolt o2 housing.

finding parts for 240's is soooo easy. they are as easy to find as Honda parts. remember the S13 was sold in Japan from 1989 to 1998.
