Well i decided to go make another purchase today. I am still trying to get back on lenses to where i was 3 years ago.
Here were the two choices can anyone guess what i got today.
50mm 1.4 Sigma or 50mm 1.4 Nikon
Also picked up a $180 FIlter ND2-ND400 So 8.5 stops of difference.

LoL Yeah i went with the Sigma today. Ventured out of the box from my usual plus its a 77mm which i love vs what like a 58. The sigma is almost double in size and just feels better. Might take a few test shots today with it. Its still just sitting next to me and i am just looking at it.

I need to start thinking about a ball head. My tax return isn't NEARLY what I expected thank you very much US Government so about all I'll be able to afford is a single, good, ball head or whatever.

I looked at both the Sigma and the Nikon one and one major factor i liked is the sigma will hold my filters since its 77mm

I just had to get a shot in while my car was clean, before the snow came back and it did this morning. As always, watermark for your viewing pleasure.

Picked up a 35mm 1.8 on Thursday and I'm loving this lens. I would definitely recommend it. I thought the kit lens and 55-200 I had were good, but wow, this thing is pretty awesome. Very well priced too! I had a bunch of best buy gift cards so I was able to pick this lens up for $10 lol. I was first torn between the 35mm and 50mm but I'm definitely glad I got the 35mm. Maybe I'll get the 50mm next, who knows.

Thanks man, I agree. The subject separation that you can get with that lens is awesome. I tested it out tonight on my buddies mustang and I think the results were pretty good. At least I like the pics... I'll upload the pictures as soon as I get one more thing.
