Thanks brotha. I still don't think it's quite as fast as my cobalt was just yet...

Oh I know. Mine had a few electrical gremlins, and the over flow tank issue. All in all though it was a great car.

Sick car man, love the 335is. Any idea how they respond to bigger turbos?

The motors are tough. I am not sure after a E46 body style, but I would figure a M swap would be in order. But I had a E46.

Thanks brotha. They don't seem to be that bad I mean I'm already used to big turbo lag from my cobalt so this wont be that bad I don't think. I'm going to swap the twins out for a large single. I'm doing a top mount single kit. Somewhere between 600-700whp or so.

Super clean man. I wanted an e46m3 so bad, but I couldn't find one with low miles. I settled for the 335 and I love it!

I traded a 190k mile 04 F150 crew cab for this one. It had 62k miles on it. It wasn't a M, but I did the air box mod, and I did have a nice win over a G35 coupe. They have tons of power. My one and only trip in it, I took off about 6 pm and drove it 600+ miles in 24 hrs. Minus a blow out on my way home. The ocean was nice. I never had any issues. Had I not gotten 3k cash with my trade for my balt I wouldn't have gotten rid of it. Mine had the CI package, which was the Z3 steering wheel, better seats. Yes the leather seats of a bmw blows the doors off anything American. I had the Karman Fiska sound system to. I was the second owner. A older women had the car before me. I loved mine. No hate on BMW, I look foward to owning another one Everyone likes the E36 cars, but my goal is to grab a E46 coupe, and put a ls motor in it.

LOL sorry but the older 325, 323's were so slow....my g/f use to have one and it was a dog. The older series have nothing on the 335is and 135is. My buddy has the same set up on his auto coupe, its a quick car.

You are gonna compare a 135i to a E46, yeah bro. The M cars are where are where it is at. The non M cars especially the e46 cars are no joke.

Haha, I will soon enough. I'm just looking for an Mtech front bumper then I will. I already got a CSL trunk and Mtech rear waiting to be put on. I want to do all the painting at once so It doesn't need to go back to the body shop.

You bought the car man? Congrats! Did you make a thread on e90post? I wanna check out your new car.

o I gotcha. I was thinking of getting the m-tech front and rear but since I don't have a place to park inside at my college that isn't a mile from my dorm I don't really wanna get any big new cosmetic pieces until after I graduate and I can park in my garage.

Also are those OEM blacklines or Depo blacklines? I just got OEM blacklines like 2 weeks ago (tried the Depo first but had fitment issues). Both look much better than the stockers though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does tuning for E add about 30whp, so you would get about 400whp bolted and tuned?

Idk how truthful it is but on the burgermotorsports website they have dyno graph of a 335i (N54) with JB4 (map 7), downpipes, intake, BMS Flash, on 50% E85 fuel and it is saying it is making 450whp and 475wtq. If OP is fbo (I think he said he was) and running 100%E he might be above the 430whp/480whq assuming the dynograph is truthful about the mods on the car.
