Also are those OEM blacklines or Depo blacklines? I just got OEM blacklines like 2 weeks ago (tried the Depo first but had fitment issues). Both look much better than the stockers though.
I'm not sure about the black lines, they came with the car when i got it. Theyre great fitment though no issues or gaps at all.

To be honest, on 91 it doesn't feel 400whp. I need that e85 to feel the power of my needs LOL.

If OP is fbo (I think he said he was) and running 100%E he might be above the 430whp/480whq assuming the dynograph is truthful about the mods on the car.
I guess i gotta go get dyno'd!!! I'll be going in a couple of weeks most likely before I do the single so I can get a delta.

This is my dyno of my Cobalt with the EFR and e47 blend 24 psi on the same dyno Terry dyno's his cars.

The depo blacklines are a little darker than the oem ones but i cant really tell from your pic which one u have, either way they both look good. What downpipes and FMIC did you end up going with?

Yeah, post up your build so we can copiez.

Running VK downpipes as my first mod.
Catless downpipes + stock catback sounds nice.

e90poop LOL. I'll have to catch up on n54tech/bimmerboost.

I went with all BMS products cause he's local and had all in stock.

My mods are: BMS DCI, BMS Downpipes, G5 Jb4 with BB e85 flash NLS/2step relay as well, BMS clutch valve and clutch stop. Ngk 5992 spark plugs, and walbro 255 inline pump. I'm custom making an intercooler kit with my top mount single turbo setup I'm making.

I have a few questions, if you care to answer..

1. Does the JB4 now come with the G5 board? Or do I have to order that separate? Install looks crazy, and was thinking about getting a Cobb v2 because of the ease.

2. What is the BB flash? Like, why should I flash that along with having JB4? I keep seeing stuff about back end flashes used with piggy backs and I get confused.

3. Have you changed the inner tail light bulb yet? Mine is out and can't find a replacement, except the Genuine BMW one, which is like $15 for 1 small light bulb.

4. How's your clutch with all the mods? I was thinking about the clutch stop. Pedal is super long. CDV is also something I wanna do. 1-2 doesn't seem smooth.

Dude, of course man.

1- I believe it is the g5 board now. Install is super easy. The first time is a little confusing but really easy. I can do it in 5 minutes now. Leave cobb alone lol.

2- The BB flash is like a ECU flash as well that works with the piggyback JB4 it makes it smoother and much faster top end etc. It's pretty straight forward but I was confused as hell.

3- I have not, best thing to do is go to sylvania and see what bulb it is. I'm sure pepboys or autozone will have it. They're pretty common bulbs AFAIK.

4- My clutch is great, it's holding up all the torque no slip etc. The clutch stop is a must, it comes with 3 washers but I used only 2. The CVD is definitely a must as well. I would recommend the NLF/2 step relay as well if you're gonna do the JB4 it will be easy to install it all together.

1. If you buy the JB4 new it will come with the G5. I am not a very mechanical person but I was able to do it in like 45min-1hr and if I did it again I could do it in like 10 min.

2. The way I understood it, is the BB flash is a way to get more top end power for people running E. If you aren't running E (I am not because CT wont build any stations less than 80 miles from me ) it is a waste of money.

3. I recently did just change my inner tail light. There are 3 bulbs, which bulb are you talking about? I had to change the tiny bulb that only goes on when you really slam on the brakes.

4. I have an automatic

1. Okay sweet. It's the dead of winter right now and I don't think I'll be doing anything regarding standing outside of the car. but I just wanna know I'll be able to install a JB4.

2.So basically just flash it, and also use JB4? I believe I need a BT cable for the BB flash, correct? Which is on my list of things to buy..

3. Will check again, but couldn't really find it, because there's like 4 bulbs per tail light.

4. Will keep that in mind thanks.

1. Okay sweet. Two confirmations that buying a JB4 now does include the G5 board. I will watch more videos.

2. I think I also saw a pump gas flash for BB. May want to check n54/bb again, if you have a BT cable.

3. It's the bulb that lights up the lines for the inner tail light. Dunno if it turns on when I slam on the brakes, since I've only driven it a handful of times since I got it cause I need to get tires cause its on summers.

4.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I really did do my searching but couldn't find these bits of info.

no those are different bulbs and I know which one you are talking about. I believe the bulb is 7506 but if you wanna be sure follow the guide on this site.
EndTuning - BMW Check Control CCID Codes

This shows you what your error code numbers are. I had the warning message for my bulb but it wasn't listed in the SLYVANIA lighting guide so I followed the directions on the link I posted, then got my error code, and then googled the code and I was able to find the bulb (and I was right, it wasn't listed on the SLYVANIA guide).

I will try that when I get home from work. Thanks a bunch.
Still learning the car and reading the manuals, but there's so much computer stuff.
I want my dipstick back!

haha ya I know what you mean. You should look at getting your car coded. I had mine done remotely by a member on e90post for like $75.

He gave me euro style hazard lights, I can open and close all my windows and sunroof by holding the lock/unlock button on my key fob, my mirrors fold in fast, my mirrors fold in when I hold the lock button/fold out when I press the unlock button on my fob, my mirrors can angle further down than normal, and a bunch more convenient stuff. you can pm me if you want me details.

My car has some things done. Not sure if I can open/close windows/sunroof with lock/unlock. Too cold.

But my mirrors fold in on lock, dunno if they're "fast." Would be interested in more things though. I haven't logged into e90poop yet today. I'll see what I can find too.

Bigger question, what are you guys using for oil?

Yep, very convenient.

I found a list of lt01 bmw spec or w/e I forgot what it is. I didn't wanna fork over 9$ a quart at bmw and get 0w-60 or something I forgot. It said valvoline syntec full synthetic 5w-30 is BMW spec. Other guy uses shell rotella t6 5w40 he says its better when the engine gets hotter so I'll prob try that out next. I used the shell for my GTI back in the day and it was awesome.

7 quarts of oil and a filter. Costs about 60-70$ lol and easy as pie to do it yourself.
