Sensor is located directly in the middle of the rad support.

He hit just off to the left.

Suck dude. Hope you are OK. Airbags don't deploy just because of any hit. Depends where it got hit as the car has multiple sensors and will activate if they hit that targeted sensor at the right speed and angle. your passenger airbag did not deploy because I assumed there was no one with you and the airbag for was deactivated.
Anyway
Is it gonna get fixed?

The newer cars have sensors in the passenger seat and will deactivate when not occupied or if there is a child or infant seat placed in the seat. The airbag system also doesn't just go off any time you hit something and was probably working exactly as intended. The safing (impact) sensor measures the impact crash pulse energy and if the airbag controller determines the crash energy is not high enough to create a high change in velocity (Delta V) it won't fire the airbag(s). Also if the impact is at an angle or the car rotates the forces may not be applied at an angle that the airbags will fire and be able to help. Depending on the impact the airbag controller can also use a combination of the seat belt pretensioners (if equipped), airbag(s), or both.

Be thankful that you weren't injured which could still happen if you had airbag deployment or not. Also because your airbags didn't go off there's a better chance your car won't be totaled. You may not want to get it repaired and get the car back, but if the insurance writes it off, in most cases you'll usually lose money when all is said and done. If the frame rail wasn't severely damaged I'd bet you have $5-6k in damages and depending on how much they value the car at, is probably under the limit to total it. If the airbags would have went off when they weren't apparently needed that damage figure would have went up quite a bit. New airbag components are expensive.

thanks for all the responses! I DID have a passenger in the car with me at the time, but we are both OK. I heard from USAA today that they are thinking it will be fixed, but have to cut the front end off to make positive that there isnt anymore engine or frame damage that was seen already. The adjuster said it was around 7K of damage from what he has seen.
