Acey's 2.4 Thread

Added a bunch of stuff to my 2.4 this last week and in the coming days, figured I'd make a thread instead of boring the Calgary guys with it.

Sportlines and K&N SRI went on last week:

My 'hybrid' tails... (retrofitted stock inners)

Front lip on today, rear tomorrow...

And brand new tires mounted on the 18's as seen here, just waiting for the weather...

Thanks for looking.

I'm so lucky... dude said something like "I'm not even sure I've heard of this color" or something when I took them in, so to have them both match perfectly is awesome. It was sport red before, you can still see it on the back.

Thanks. I wanted G6 GTP or LNF wheels to be honest, but they are few and far between and crazy expensive when I do see them... these came up on eBay at a really good price so I got em, plus I'd miss my polished wheels too much.

If your talking about the color, go look at the new camaro's. Every panel on the car has a different color.

Not really, it's a combination of the camera on my Desire being really screwy with colours, and the sun being low in the sky.

On a cloudy day:

In sun:

It's not any worse than any other metallic Cobalt.

I already have the clips, that lip is clipped in. The fascia is going back on the car right now, then I gotta run out and grab a few things and hopefully have the rear lip done and back on in time to get some pics before dusk.

Is your paint blue granite? Never seen one that color up close before.

Absolutely not. My stockers are 17's, and are beat to ****... which you cannot see in the pictures. Considering what I paid for these 18's, and the almost perfect condition they are in, it was a no brainer. Other reason I got them... I have never seen another car with them, in person. But every single Cobalt in the city has these god forsaken stockers. Nice to have something different.

Yeah. Only 60 '07 2.4's in this colour apparently, saw that on some site where you put in your VIN. Not sure I believe that, but it's definitely not many. I haven't seen another '07 2.4 in this color, anywhere.

I just picked up my clips do my grille today, cost me $32 from the stealership what a joke. Can you post a pic of where the clips go so I know exactly where to put them?

Clips for the front lip? You don't have the right clips if they only cost $32. Ill post a link to the how-to thread when I get to my computer.

Once u fit the grille in the bumper hole just feel behind and u can tell where the clips go. It's was a bit of a pain getting them on but ull figure it out
