Exactly what I was thinking. More dollars then sense is what came to mind. I'll bet maintenance will be even more expensive considering after a hard track day its almost required to replace the tranny fluid which is almost a grand. This happened to a guy at the NHMS track day I was at, and with 1200 miles clocked, he wasn't too happy.

The real bitch about the stock tranny is it gets real hot when going WOT all day, if they can keep the tranny temps under control (owner's manual says 280F is when you stop immediately and change the fluid) and this guy I saw got his to 275 on the last run.
