I approve of "douche" being capitalized. Roflcopters.jpg

Ya the price seems right, and it looks like it's built good. I wanted to do a longtube and not a shorty but at $189 you can't beat it I don't think.

I have it on my car teamed with a catless Random Technology downpipe, and a Corsa Touring catback exhaust. I must say it sounds great!! I can't say how much power it gave me, because I went catless and pullied down all at the same time. I def. felt a nice difference in power when I took my car for a quick ride the other day though. I will perform some logs and take some sounds clips in the spring time when I bring my car out for good.

Cool thanks. What do you think the best sounding catted downpipe would be? I heard xtc sounds good, but haven't heard much about any other beside zzp's which I heard is louder.

Could be true, every little thing can change the sound though, just like how catted and invaders sound different. I do agree though that the muffler is where 70-80% of the sound difference will come from.

It affects the tone as was said. I put my header on after my slp catback and it did change the sound. (though not much at the exhaust tip)

to me it mainly sounds more aggressive from inside the car when floored. Idle part throttle etc you dont really notice it. Granted im currently back on my factory dual cat LE5 downpipe.

sounds like crap. everyone on here will say omg my exhaust sounds so much better than everyone elses i've heard. at the end of the day everyones sounds closer to a honda civic than a srt or wrx no matter what you have. keep the cat and it'll sound half decent.

thats what i have now and it sounds amazing..

But hey to each his own ears lol, i might like something that nobody else would and vice versa...

to answer op's question that header alone didnt make a difference in the sound on my stock exhaust and dp back in the day...
