Completely untrue statement.
The header rivals the power output of any other long tube on the market, however, it allows for a torque band unlike others.
And it actually is nearly as 'equal length' as OTTP's header; one primary is about 0.25" shorter than the rest on the particular header I had (as compared to +.125, -.125 on the competition).
The reason for the 'suby sound' was the lack of a rotational collector. It fired 2 and 1 beside each other in a high velocity pulse, followed by 3 and 4 beside each other in a second pulse. It was simply the scavenging effects that caused the sound.
Further more, the idea that it is 'inefficient' is to this day a baffling concept.... apparently no one has ever really studied flow dynamic enough to understand the reasoning behind why this header allows for such a great torque band in the mid-range.
Oh... and before people start talking **** about how I only defend it cause I own it ... actually, I sold it months ago... and sometimes regret doing it. But at least I know the new owner seems to love it.

personaly i love the header had it on for over a year gave the car a little more low end torque and an awesome sound
