Yeah, we will see...I'm not holding my breath with them anymore. I mean, who has ever heard of a volunteer organization kicking people out?? Oh well, once my arm is healed I will go run with a department that gives a crap about people

that's bullshit. I agree most fd don't give a ****. I wanted to be a vff but they don't want my free help. I would scrub the toilets with a toothbrush, but apparently they would rather not.

The funny thing with mine is I had submitted a letter requesting a leave of absence for personal and physical reasons...can't really do firefighting with a broken arm, but the letter couldn't be found so they sent me a registered letter stating my membership was terminated because I did not have the time necessary to volunteer. What really bugs me about that, is the by-laws of the company state that I should have been put on probationary status for a year before other action was taken. So now I keep my eyes open when I go past the station, waiting for them to put "Volunteers Needed" on the sign out front.
Also, they are the first department I have seen to have a $750,000 truck that has seen more parade or repair shop time than it has active duty time

Yeah, it definitely originated in the interior as that was completely gone. It had just spread to the engine bay as we were arriving on scene.
The honda element did survive without any marks at all, and it HAD been parked there the whole time.
Doubtful....the owners are a middle aged asian couple living in Lexington Ma....they most likely have money lol

I can explane the reason that asains can't drive cars in the US or a left handed drive automobile, it's like being drunk they are so smart that they lack common sence and there equallibreum gets mest up that they can't drive right. That is why they just need to continue to ride bicycles. Sorry if I affended anyone I was just quoting what a coworker said.

I'm gonna have to call this as arson at first glance. I mean, how many cars just catch on fire when sitting parked? Once the key is removed, all accessory power is gone accept for cig lighters which are fused to cut the connection on a short out. My opinion would be different had this started in the engine bay, but since its on the passenger side front where it seems the most heat took place, I call arson.
OP- is this being looked at as accidental and written off or is there an investigation going on?

Yea yea yea I came on here back in the day when indytunning (indiana) started so we could keep up with the cobalt guys and to find us new members, then I moved to Texas in 07 and got on here again to get the Centex guys new members aswell. I'm nowhere near a newby I just didn't post much, I've been apart of the J-body community for 9 going on 10 years now and I got a yellow 06 SS/SC in December and started trolling the site more. Thanks for letting me know I was the new old guy by the way my other forum name on everywhere else ( that has to do with the GM compacts) is SpyderJ. It looks like your into yellow cobalts too Mike. And yes I still have the cavy that is the toy and the SS is my DD.
