This is not the first time someone has converted their GMPP into an CAI, not even close.. So why do you guys have to rag on him for this?
He had a GMPP intake, added some additional tubing to run the filter in behind the bumper.

I did it my self. Was a pain in the *****...
Cause the stupid dealer forgot to put the GMPP sticker on then lost it 
And I took the emc cover off cause its ugly

because water is a LIQUID and not a SOLID...
It can get into small places, just imagine the force created and how hard water sprays when a 3000lb vehicles rolls through it...
