CF Interior Pieces Progress Pics

A few of you know, most of you dont, im getting my silver interior pieces done in real carbon fiber. Found a guy through a friend. Does GREAT work. VERY nicely priced. So heres my progress pics so far. He receieved the parts on Thursday 5-10-12, its now 5-13-12 and theres already hella progress made.

Picked up all these parts off of here as a spare set, so my car isnt driving around looking like hell.

Will probably wrap my stock set once this is done and sell it.

Anyway heres progress pictures so far. Only surgery we did was fill in the center piece as I dont have heated seats, and this made everything smoother.

Enjoy. Will be updated as I receive pictures

No. When you do Carbon Fiber you want a smooth surface for the epoxy and the carbon fiber to stick to. So he has filled in the cracks on the sides, then put down a guide coat to make the surface under the carbon fiber black so if the fibers stretch you won't see the color shine through.

Are you vacuum bagging the parts or just overlaying them?

Me either! I think it'll tie in my painted pieces better. Then ill really have to wrap the headliner in suede

^ I've wanted to do my headliner in Black Suede forever. just never took it all apart. i would have to do the pillars too, but i would rather paint them to match the black interior

Looks good. Let them dry overnight before you put the first coat of resin on so the cf doesn't come loose
