Chevrolet Volt

Just posted this over at GMI, figured I'd post it here too

Anyways, when I first saw the Volt, I was very impressed. Not with the technology, but with the design. I always wondered what the Volt would look like in production, well, at least the front fascia.

The headlights on the concept are too thin, and the bumper has too much dead space on it. So that's where I focused my efforts in this photoshop. I didn't worry too much about the side of the car, although I did fill in part of the transparent body panels.

If GM puts something like this, maybe the next Cobalt, into to market with a front fascia like below, I guess I'll have to trade my current ride for one

Let me know what you think

It's a definite improvement. I'd like to see this photoshop done to modify a Cobalt front end. That would be interesting.

it looks like it is a four seater. i wonder how anyone would be able to squeeze into the back of it, because that rear door looks pretty small!

It has a lot to do with the angle of the photo, as you can see, its not that small...

Here is a interior shot, from behind the rear seats...

I think pictures make it look bigger than it actually is . The Volt is built off ....of all things , the Delta chassis . For those that dont know , thats the chassis the Cobalt/Ion, g5 are on .
