Street fire guys are retarded and with those mods the cobalt would do exactly as expected in the video, but in defense of the Z, IT looked like he had 20's or at least 19s on that piece, so that wasnt helping any.

Some Z's look like sex on wheels with those big rims and a perfect drop, but yeah definately not performance oriented, btw is that a pic of you after a few drinks at the bar.

seen many z's run 13.6-13.9 stock...so yes they could easily pull on an ss/sc with a decent driver. cool vid

 

streetfire is awesome at first i hated it because ppl there are so ******* stupid but It allows me to express hatred which is sometimes fun.

 

my twin brother owns a 04 350z...stock he has ran a 13.9-14.2 @98-100mph.....his car dynoed 224rwhp and about 225rwtrq i believe...ill find his post on a local board later....the z has more torque from the factory by far but the lsd ::my brothers car is the enthusiast model ::and the car being rwd helps out alot if it was fwd it would have wheel hop issues just like the cobalt ss...from a roll though the ss s/c has a advantage...less weight to move...stock vs stock its almost a dead even race from a few videos ive seen the ss s/c pulls away around 100 not by much but it does...but from a dead stop if the ss s/c doesnt get a good launch the 350z will win...

I seriously dont want to start anything, but I never hear that hey a cobalt ss/sc is just a cobalt. Lets look at this now, a Cobalt LS really is definately nothing to brag about and although it may be mechanically superior to a neon stx, its still just a cobalt. I dont know, it just seems that a cobalt ls 2.2 and a neon with what a 2.0 are both garbage and srt4's and SS's are cool.

When I had my Mustang GT, definately thought v6's were garbage
When I had my Redline, I definately didnt want anything to do with the ION quad coupe
When I had my SRT-4, wouldnt be caught dead in a Neon SXT, unless commuting
With my Jetta GLI, I wouldnt have bought a 2.5L
If I had a Cobalt SS, wouldnt have even considered a Cobalt 2.2 even if I was commuting.

honestly when it comes to down to it ...........when ppl say "u drive a cobalt", i say ya!
when ppl say "u drive a neon" most srt4 owners will say NOOO! its an srt4. The fact that the differientiate must be made is the reason it exists. I am am happy to know a few srt4 owners that call their srt4s neons.

 

you're right SRT-4 owners are definately afraid of the comment while cobalt owners dont really care. I think The neon was around for so long that it was associated with so much rice and rednecks with R/T's that r DOPE. If enough riced out cobalt 2.2's hit the streets, you will fear the comment, yes yes you will.

totally agree there are already enough useless and hopeless 2.0L driver, let alone 2.2 and 2.4 drivers, out there to give us plenty of bad rep and increase our rice level. Not to say i am the almighty god of the 2.0 but when 50% of 2.0L owners are previous cavi onwers that says something...sorry been drinkin since 1pm and gonna speak my mind all night long.

 

i never get the u drive a cobalt i always get u drive a cavalier ... and i smile and say hell yes i drive a cavalier and its cute isnt it

 

sad to say a saw a kind of ricey laser blue cobalt today, i was going one way this thing was going the other way and it had these like white flames on the side and i think it had a different wing than stock, i didnt get that great a look at it but it definitely sounded like it had an exhaust

 

We have a ricey one here on post that has a black widow vinyl on both sides of it and the guy just seems really dark and carries a lunch box, me and my friend sing "pull the trigger and the nightmare stops" when that guy goes by.
