Mines my DD and I love getting in that thing every morning. I try not to drive it in the snow or if they just threw salt down but sometimes I dont have a choice...afterwards Ill take it a carwash and just hose it down real good.

Some people might say "Oh its just a Cobalt." Yeah..ok.
Well if you've seen the **** cars ive driven my cobalt is the nicest car ive owned

 

thats cool for you, but please don't assume that others don't respect their cars. most of us, since we drive COBALTS, simply don't have the money for an extra car, so we have to drive them all day every day. it sucks but its the reality. if i could, i probly wouldn't drive it in the winter; who wouldn't love to keep the salt off of their prized possession? i'd love to take a break from my car so i can get back in it and feel like its the first time driving it. but i cant so instead i gotta give it tons of love and wash it constantly

 

Or you could get good winter tires like Michelin X-Ice or Bridgestone Blizzaks and learn how to winter drive. 3rd winter driving my SS/TC and I haven't even come close to an accident. Hell, I love the deeper snow because it's fun as **** to plow through and our front bumpers/lips are tanks.

 

Yeah, I just had to make a trip from Halifax to Wolfville last night (for anybody familiar with Nova Scotia) and the highway was completely covered in snow. The balt handled it like a champ.

 

In the winter months if its bad out i bring my truck out as soon as the roads melt I bring my car out and drive it. It gets muddier than half the trucks around here. Summer time you could eat off my paint everyday.

 

i hear ya, but rather not take the risk, plus i dont care how good of tires you got, how good at driving you are, you cant control the other drivers on the road...just sayin, rather get hit in my pickup than the cobalt.
