she was charged with reckless and got 6 points.
her excuse was she was looking for her friends at a gas station across the street, yet she managed to swerve the opposite way, right into my car.
her mom asked if we can settle out of insurance, i dont think she understands that this is gonna be a pricy job lol

I would go through insurance less chance of getting screwed. But then again you have a police report

about the rims......
they were repainted by the dealer for warrenty due to chipping so they are darker than stock, if they replace the busted one it will not match the rest, im shooting for new o7 gunmetals with the lip or machine the busted one and repaint all the rims.

well she has 6 points so i kno in fl her liscense would be suspended and im sure her parents are pissed so she has been punished. Go to a dealer they do good work and are exspensive. Im guessing 2500-3000 depending on the price of the rims...

I was playing....I realize the severity of the damage. Tell the mom it'll run $10k and see if she bites. I bet she'll go with the insurance, then again, $10k might be a drop in the bucket if that ticket and accident go through on her insurance.

Dude, I know how you feel. On memorial day, the day before I was supposed to take my car into the dealer to get stage 2 and GMPP exhaust someone keyed my car. I was so pissed! The worst part is that the next day they put the kit and stuff on it and are doing the insurance work to the body. So the serve dept sent it over to the body dept right after they got done testing it. It's still there, hopefully will be done on Tuesday and I can pick her up. I've been dying inside considering that I've been waiting so long for S2 and now it's been on the car for a week and I haven't gotten to even see it, let alone drive it.

Anyways, good luck with the insurance and make her pay for maiming the balt!

I think in the US the rims are like, 850.00 each, and the pirelli tires run about 280. factor in messed up brakes, damaged rear link, panel shaping/painting/blending....You're looking at a nice long expensive job there...I'd say 8K is just a warm up
