Well that torque number is crazy but you only have it for a short time, nice graph though read my graph you'll see the torque curve is almost non-existant. Very nice though if you're ever in Florida give me a call and we'll run for fun.

Oh I know the LSJ produces a nice flat torque curve..all thanks to the roots blower. But it'd be nice to have a peak torque number that high lol.

has anyone done a dyno with race gas? cause when I get my car dynoed in a couple weeks, its gonna be full of 105 octane unleaded race gas! I will just convieniently forget to tell people that my 265+ dyno run was rigged (not really)

Well race gas alone isn't going to give you more power. It just decreases your chances of getting knock when, for example, you increase timing.

Na, I garentee I will give more power, I'v been drag racing since I'v had my licesne, and EVERY ONE of my fastest times was with 105 race gas. Worked in my '73 GMC (no change in tune what so ever), in my parents '03 ion, and their new '06 ion, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with my cobalt, ESPECIALLY since its running 12 pounds of boost!

Actually to high of an octane in a motor not tuned for it can slightly decrease a cars performance.

Thanks guys, Im pretty sure Im running super rich up here in el paso at 4000 ft. The car runs rich already but add this thin air and its egg all over my face. Maybe a CAI would help here more than at sea level. I think it starts to pull timing because of this. But hey, rather that than detonation.

Yes I have a b/f and after I lost 5 hp when I added 104 octane to my 93 making it aroung 99 octane. It will also screw up your cat and take a look b/f and after of your spark plugs or what will be left of them.

its never done anything to my other cars, I use 105 UNLEADED race gas, its not leaded I know it will **** up the cat thats why i used unleaded. Now in my truck I used 112 leaded. When I get my cat-delete pipe I'll use leaded gas.

race gas doesn't add power. it reduces the chance for knock so you can tune your car for more power. this has been proven!
