Well, I got a call from the dealership last night to come pick up my parts that I ordered.






Peanuts! Hurray for Peanuts! Now it's time to dig for the buried treasure.


GMPP Intake!!!


Got the intake installed today at my local dealership (the one from the night pictures). Cost was 300 for the part, and FREE Install!!!! I haven't had a bad experience with these guys, and don't ever expect to. Probably the reason the place is so nice and has so many returning customers.

But on the the installed product...










And it came with a GMPP Sticker, so I figured why not put it under the hood.

I really liked the change from stock to this. The response time is much quicker, and you can tell the small increase in horsepower. The sound is very deep once you pass 3k rpms, and sounds close to stock lower than that. It is still very quiet on the highway while using the cruise( I was afraid of a constant low noise like an exhaust would produce on highway). I'm really happy with the results, and highly reccomend it to any owner that wants to increase hp, sound, and make the engine bay a little bit better looking.

 

Great, nice review man. I was thinking the same thing for my car. I have always gotten sri on my cars and I think i am ready for a cai.

 

the aftermarket intakes sound really nice on our cars. if you were to put the caold air extension(if you had one) on it would be a lot quieter in the cabin. but looks good man.
