Hell yeah it is. Especially since it took quite a bit of time to get to it.

I would be worried of something coming up on the road out of no where etc.

Fastest I've ever gone in my car was around 135 mph. That was fast enough for me.

That must have been one straight road! Took a while, but it got there, I feel bad for the car having that much WOT time though lol. I have been to 155-160 a number of times this year, and I don't admit it often, but I ran a local's 5.3 swapped Nova with an s475 on 16 lbs E85 to the end of his last gear which was 170-175mph on the dyno when he was on it last time. Obviously my speedo only goes to 140, but I do know that I was much farther into 5th then when I raced my friend's Evo to 160, so not sure exactly how fast personally. We didn't realize how fast we were really going in the heat of the moment during a good race, but it scared me after the fact. Scared me even more thinking about the big old Nova doing that speed right next to me... :/

New challenge: Do that in PA and try to find a straight enough road with no pot holes.

Spoiler: It's impossible.

I've done it in my 300ZX on I81. There are some decent stretches between Ravine and Hazleton. Granted my car does it in under 30 seconds not a minute lol

Speedo means nothing at those speeds. They're not accurate at high speeds and can be out by more than 10%.

I GPS'd my stock TC up to 150mph.

Which is why you calculate based on gear tire and rpm.
