Be like this customer of ours. He didn't want just any old anchor for his yacht. 225lb Stainless Steel, and it had to be fully polished.

I did the polishing myself. What fun.
I hope when I grow up, I have money to burn like that.

Appx $25/lb, so... about $6,000.
And thats a smallish one. We did a pair of 650lb galvinized steel ones prior to that, and have an order coming up for a pair of 500lb Stainless ones. I don't think they will be polished, but they might be, I don't remember.
The way these yacht owners throw money around astounds me.

do not tell me about throwing money around. My boss during the summer had me and my uncle tear down one of his engines clean the pistons inspect them get new heads replace one cracked piston i mean a 1/8 inch crack at the top of the piston maybe less. Plus other **** and we ended up rebuilding again after one of our installs on a piston went bad most likely when the ring clap snapped and made a weird noise (broke ring) but i have a sick paper weight now that piston was fucked. And a month before that the other engine was completely replaced. After that we still had to replace the **** lines which was horrible and smelled like well **** lol. Finally this year the whole thing was repainted for the second time first painter was a ******* incompetant *****. and now it is good as new.
