After owning 4 j-bodies I'm going to call you an idiot if you think a Cobalt is in anyway superior, and if you have some other silly comeback I will remind you this is a Cobalt site.

AKA 4th gen Cavalier.

Awesome, I have had 5 J's, wait 6. 88 z24, 90z24, 96 coupe, 97 coupe, 03 coupe and 03 sunflower. I love J's, 2nd gens p1's mostly but I really miss my 03. Had so money things I planned to do, full RK kit and turbo. Oh well, just recently sold my last J, the 97.

Does that hurt your feelings because they didn't have forced induction and better seat offerings?

The dash is still made from recycled milk cartons, and it's an entry level GM car that lasted all of 5 year while the J-platform was around for 23.



The attitude that it is superior is why this community isn't half as innovative nor have accomplishments that members in the J-community have.

Chances are if you're offended, you should be. Of course being newer, it is indeed an upgrade but the majority here don't give half the credit to whom brought you kid's your SS/SC's and SS/TC's so you can buy a couple bolt-ons and play a internet hero.

So next time someone says it's "still a Cavalier", don't be an idiot when you drive a Cobalt of all things.

 

Still a Cavalier, just like it's still a Cobalt J-bodies paved the way for the domestic tuner vehicles though definitely.

 

I would run a tbolt clamp on my throttle body but yeah that's a LS1 TB so a 4 1/2 inch tbolt clamp isn't cheap at all lol

Don't need any more poke on the rear because in a couple weeks its gonna be on rksport coilovers hellaflush will happen

And doesn't need a driver mod..is everyone ready for the shocker that will give people something to hate on??

Its a cavalier and its an AUTO so yeah don't get beat by a less superior car that's a auto

My bro had a ss/sc cobalt when they first came out and I can't hate I liked it alot

 

O and p.s this car isn't only a cavalier its got a little cobalt in it
It has lsj head components it used to have a lsj head but it kept leaking
My first setup with lsj head..wasn't fast enough lol

Nice J-Body..... I had a 02 Z almost the same color . I had to Zip-tie the front extension back on one night after hitting a ****** cat errrrr! It's bad when ***** knock parts off your car.

My 02 was a weird car thou.... It came from the factory with everything LS sport ....chrome spit spoke wheels , same colored fog's and bumper extensions ... it was like they ran out of Z24 stuff and were just using up the last LD9's hehe.

 

maybe cause of the switch in mid year 02 in styling and dropping the z24 for the LS Sport? I want a mid year 02 cavalier still. By the time I was ready to get a new car at the time the mid year 02's were gone for the 03's and I was wanting a car that day so I went with the 03 instead of looking around for an MY 02
