There are a few routes you can go with headlights. First; you could just upgrade your stock headlights to aftermarket black reflectors. These perform just like the stock headlights except that the insides are painted black.

Next you can go with one of the aftermarket generations of headlights. Generations 1 through 4, otherwise considered 'ebay' headlights. These headlights are fitted with halogen projectors which, while able to run HIDs, aren't meant for it and the output might not be the best, generation depending. Generations 1 through 3 have 'halos' or 'angel eyes' around the projectors and generation 4 is a bit simpler or cleaner of a look.

Lastly you could make or have someone make for you, some retrofit headlights. These can be painted black or left stock or any colour you might want really. This is generally the most expensive route and if you were thinking you didn't want to do a cheap upgrade, this won't be the option for you. However, these headlights are made (usually) with true HID projectors (usually bixenon so you have HID highbeams as well). These headlights will outperform the aftermarket alternatives. They are made by taking apart a set of stock headlights, fitting HID components inside them and sealing them back up. However take it from me; this can sometimes lead to a whole world of problems.
