i was waiting to see who would remove that front grill the first, that does look good, but i like when youe can see the charge pipes coming out each side, in that pic it kinda looks like a radiator

Ya the charge pipes do look bad ass unfortuently the stock bumber you cant see them. I'll be getting a larger intercooler soon along with hard piping for turbo.

lol im sure the grill doesnt do much to prevent bugs/tiny rocks from hitting it

remember, LSJ's have been driving around without a grill infront of their intercoolers, and all the ones i have seen are fine.

In Redlands Next to San Bernadino... within the next 3 months here are the upgrades...

-100% custom turbo upgrade by Rcrewracing
(including 16g turbo, hks super sequencial bov, hahn racecraft turbo piping and large intercooler, 24 lbs of boost)
-Hahn racecraft Ecu upgrade
-hand built headers, 3 in. downpipe no cat, 3 in. straight pipe all the way back
(done by Freds Race pipes in san diego)
-Short ram intake from hahn racecraft
(coming out this month)
-Ngk spark plugs and wires
-msd Ignition
-Stage 3 clutch from wicked clutches in temecula
-Volk Rays 17in. with Bfgoodrich G-force tires
-Tien 3 way adjustable shocks

Then after all these are done i will build the turbo to a 20g and have some internals done
(Race cams, Crank shaft, Pistons ect.)

My goal is to reach high 500hp range... smash on my buddy's srt pushin 602whp 25 lbs of boost

the grille at least protects it a little bit and airflow is still good with grille on..... Plus,, I'd rather people not see mine....

I like it alot. I like how you took out the lower grille to show off the intercooler. I would have done the same thing.

I guess it all depends on where you are driving and such. I had a big frontmount on my gti for almost 2 years and it was fine. Nothing a wash every now and again wont fix.
