what wheels/tires are you running? me and my friend wen to the track friday, he has a 95 z28 with intake, headers-tip exhaust, gears, and a built trans and he was only able to muster a 13.5 cause he spun alot. he's running a 10.5 nt555r, i'm not sure of the height but i told him to get a taller tire and a smaller wheel, preferably a slick.

so whats the largest wheel/tire combo you can get on one of these?

they can fit 285 20 35's im pretty sure was the biggest i saw but you have to hammer out a little bit under the car.

whats headers-tip exhasust?

anyways a typical intake header exhaust will net him 315whp with an auto gears and tranny build? how big was the stall. and does he have any suspension work?

he should be in the high 11's low 12's with that setup

it prob sidepiep on the cobalt and its ok to have one pipe on the car cause its a 2-1-2 setup now its a 2-1-1 but it looks like a 3.5 or 4in setup

Wheels are pro-stars
Tires are Hoosier quick time

They are 295x50x15

I have seen 315 but you need the BFH mod (big ******* hammer)
and lots of grinding of the caliper corners. not to fun or safe.
these fit with some grinding of the caliper and wheel well.

yeah,
I deleted the cobalt (to lazy to fab somethingu] up to come out the rear.

the camaro is a 4" Mufflex all the way back. had true duals before having to go single because of the full suspension.

Its still LOUD

headers-to-tips exhaust. he has a 3000 stall, not sure what converter size it is but he can only go up to about 2200 cause he starts to roll forward after that. and no thats not quite high 11s low 12s yet

what size are the wheels?

you have a 295 width wheel? man, thats over 24 feet wide.

i'm talkin about your wheels, not your tires. so the wheels are a 15x?? with a 3.5" backspacing. did you need to run a spacer or anything?

doh (I even spelled width wrong )

wheels are 15x8

I needed a small spacer on the back.
not sure of the size.

off memory it was a good 1/2 inch wide

you have to convert.
they are 295x50x15

http://www.redrock4x4.com/tech/tire_...&method=metric

Metric to Standard Conversion
Enter the tire size below (ex)
/ R

Standard to Metric Conversion
Enter the tire size below (ex)
x R

Result:
295/50/15 = 26.6x11.6/15
