Great videos, Thanks for posting them zinc. Hey darkson What do you think about both cars. I think the one with the rsx was all drivers. And you did pretty good in the second one for a dig. Congrats.

 

nice runs against that rsx-s! i thought it would have you with those mods, you must be a good driver, how fast is that cavy with all the mods?

 

sorry to go off topic but my freind (who doesnt even have a rsx type s yet) think his car will beat the SS...im thinkin it would be close..but seeing that video, idk he had all that done, and the cobalt still pulls on him?

 

yeah it was a drivers race with the rsx but my launches still need work and the cav is as fast when its cooler out but the more into summer it goes the slower his cars been getting.

 

also what made it worse is that the rsx with the torque dampner can launch at 5000 rpms with no wheel hop or anything mean while i was launching at 1900 and had to ride the clutch

Wow, I have nothing againt the RSX and I think it's a pretty cool car and all, but with all those mods he still did nothing impressive to the stock SS. That's pretty sweet. I think I've severly overestimated what the RSX-S can do.

 

In the RSX's defense he put a car on me by 130-135 in one of the races. one of his gears is so damn short it pulls him from behind me to ahead while im sitting in my 4th. if i dont put some distance between him before over a hundred he can come out on top. neither one of use could mess up or you lose automatically thats how evenly matched the cars were. You guys can't see that in my vids and the other camra we had in the cav and rsx the vids didnt record. oh yeah that camaros a beast he got bored of going slower than us for all the races

 

Basically what I'm saying is that I gave more credit in a stock vs stock.....but after seeing that video it's pretty much no contest that an SS will blow away an RSX-S in that case.

damn good races. verry impressed, those z24's with those mods run low 14's. rsx probably mid to low 14's so good none the less.

oh I hear ya I've raced three stock ones already and let me tell you they don't stand a chance stock for stock. Funny thing is I saw the vids of that silver SS getting beat up by that rsx with just I/E and I was like WTF!? that don't seem right he should be able to just out power a basic bolt on RSX. They don't pick up speed till third gear or they have to launch like a mad man to start off in there power band.

from a roll when hes in the right mode hes the same as us from a roll..... from a dig its just a massacare. He runs thirteens I'm ganna race him though and some SRT's and bunch of other cars because they all want at me because im one of the only cobalts ss in the area.
