TWM Shifter is awesome, got the brushings too. Also got a new shift boot, and weighted knob.
We finished painting the dash too, and one door panel, and got a new cd player.

Hows it look ?

^ Thanks. It really is a great shifter, I knew it would be good, everyone told me it would be.
Even better then I thought though.

I'd go with Twm, it keeps the reverse lock. And I've never seen a bad review.

Very nice. I ordered a carbon fiber shift boot, ebrake boot and a momo handle from redline and nga. I gotta get a short throw too. Did you do the dash in flat black? I wanted to do that with mine. It looks really good. I was just worried about like fingerprints and stuff showing up.

What do the bushings do for an extra $20.00? Do you really need them?

It's actually pretty straight forward, specially on the SS/TC since the stock shift knob is easier to remove. Here is a link to the installation manual:

Hello Boosted_Cobalt09,

The RL mechanism only comes in silver (aluminum finish). I find it makes a very nice contrast with a black shift knob, but I suppose you could always paint it with some spray paint if you wanted it to match. Just make sure to prep the piece well so that your paint job doesn't start peeling off in a week or two
