Installed Cobra Heat Exchanger!!!Lots of pics!!!

Installed Wednesday and it barely finished bleeding late yesterday. I can drive around in 80 degree weather and even do a few 80mph pulls and it is barely even warm! I love it and highly recommend it to anyone. Thank Mr-Slowbalt for a damn good product!

Well I left my bumber on for the install. However I would give it a 7 cause getting the stock hoses off was by far the hardest part and I cannot stress how important it is to have a friend to help you. I am running the cobra along with the stocker. And I didnt see spending 30$ for mounting brakets so I just got a 2" piece of flat steel and bent it and it worked great and only cost 5.00 dollars.

I will get some pics up of the bracket's if you guys want them.

nah, thats the pump, from what i understand the pump is on low at idle then when you go it starts circulating the coolant better, not rpm dependent but more like a switch from low to high, thats how i take it. someone correct me if im wrong

As far as I know, the water pump increases proportionally to the engine rpm since it's connected by a belt...unless our is totally different, which I doubt. Thermostats generally open around 85şC to 95şC. I'm currently working in a division of Magna that assembles and tests prototype water pumps...<sarcasm starts>I love it soo much!!<sarcasm ends>

the engine cooling system is a seperate system from the heat excahmger coolant system. they do not come together at all. the engine coolant system has a belt(timing) driven pump and a thermostat that lets the coolant circulate through the engine, heater hoses and radiator. however the heat exchanger system works off an electric pump that circulates a seperate amount of coolant throught the lumanova in the intake manifold, heat exchanger and lines.
