What about that car makes you think it is a Red Line? For one, it has 4 lugs instead of 5. Plus that isn't a Red Line body kit on the car.

Weird, did it have the red line badge on the trunk? I highly doubt it could have been factory built that way. I've looked at the ordering guides GM puts out and now where in them did they mention an automatic. From looking at the pics I think it must be some kind of dealer built car? Did it have a window sticker?

 

If the hood was up, why where the pictures that where taken with the hood down?

Someone did a motor swap into a 2.2 ION then. That is not not NOT by any stretch of the imagination a Redline...

 

Sure it wasn't an SC (Aftermarket) on a 2.2l? I guess you would know the difference though since you own a 2.0l SC. Im at a loss.

 

thats an Ion QC with the Razzi body kit

it may have just had a roots blower installed on it

either that or they went through all the trouble of converting it to 4 lug because the 5x110 bolt pattern sucks.

Interesting car yes, but a Redline it is not.

probably just has the gm blower kit installed..

 

with the custom exaust, bodykit and rims, its not hard to assume whatever you saw under the hood was aftermark as well..

 

Yeah it could have been the 2.2 eco S/C kit on it. Not that hard to imagine.

 

you can have a SC installed on a 2.2 from gm? or are you saying thats just what they did for the 1 car.

 

The kit is supposed to be coming out some time soon for the 2.2.
