Just some pics of my Civics exhaust.

Now I lknow you all probably hate hondas and especially hatches but i just wanted to see what you all think of my exhaust. I plan on getting a silver or blue sc/ss cobalt in the next year or so. I plan on using the same exhaust/tip bc I love the look and the sound and well just about everything about it. Its an A'PEXi N1 full catback. Here are some pics:

The Si (siR in Canada) was the only Civic I had ever considered buying....somehow it being a hatch didn't bother me. I was a huge fan of the seats and just the overall look of the car though I sometimes had problems getting past the look of the stick where it's mounted. Liking the colour colour of it ( at least in the pic where it isn't green ) and I've seen much worse exhausts on Civics...just make sure you keep 'er shined up for when you put it on the Cobalt .

apexi is one of the top leading exhaust companies so please don't bash on what you have no idea of. apexi n1 full cat back exhaust is not rice in any way. delivers a nice deep tone not that raspy sound you get from cheap mufflers.

Yea most people think that all imported exausts sound the same but they don't. i'n my research each 1 has a different tone and look. they're not all fart cans. most of the so called fart cans are probaly poorly madeand cheap exausts and mufflers. so like DC52NV said "don't bash on what you have no idea of."

i don't like how crooked the muffler is on the car. I may be high quality, but it has a ricey look to it.

it's angled for a reason. in order to keep it as straight as possible, for maximum performance, the pipping has to be angled that way. the more bends the more restrictive it is. i'm sure you already knew that but i said it just incase other people didn't know.

I like the bent look myself.... like on the SVTF forums everyone bashes on the HKS exhaust for coming out at an angle... I think it looks sweet...

how large is the tip opening. Looks pretty good to me not too rice. But that opening looks big. How about a sound clip or vid. Just to see if it sounds deep like you say. I would put one on my 2.0

I agree totally that's exactly the sound I'd want out of my SS/SC. It's funny because as far as looks go most people would naturally assume it to be another "fart can" but it's one of the best sounding aftermarket exhausts I've ever heard on a 4 cylinder.

Thanks for the feedback on my exhaust. and also for taking it easy on a honda guy. i like the cobalt ss/sc you guys got on here. oh and for the person that wanted to know the size of the muffler its a 115mm tip. also it doesnt sound ricy at all i dont have a sound clip but it sounds very nice and deep. trust me it has no raspy or riceyness in it at all! i think that this type of exhaust would be sooooo badass on your cobalts. a nice angled exhaust would look nice on them. oh and i have to say this is by far the best sounding and looking exhaust systems for import cars hands down! for those people that call it a fart can, aparently youve never heard an apexi n1 before have you?

I have to agree Apexi is actually a good brand ... I also know several people that have several parts from them. The sound isn't at all bad ... just not for me ... I have a Flowmaster so that gives you an idea what sound im looking for.
