back on now. took it off for the pictures, makes the engine bay look cluttered and unless the filter is brand spanking new it makes everything look dirty. i think i'm gonna try and take off or repaint the heat shielding on the passenger strut tower tomorrow

 

two questions:

(1) Where is your intake? Didn't see it in the bay.

(2) Are you running an oil tank on your breather system? If not, how are you routing your lines?

 

Oh I gotcha. I feel like its too big of an empty space whens theres nothing there but I feel ya on the dirty filter. Nice retrofits though. Clean car in general

yup. been like that for a while. never really bothered fixing it cause its not getting worse. its just two clips

 

Noob question...does a tripod really make that much difference in picture clarity?

 

il only use a tripod at night

 

it helps with clarity tho? I would imagine at night its more effective than day cuz what little light you are getting needs to be stable rather than slightly moving with your hands.

 

i mean a tripod will always help, less movement on the camera the better. i just dont see a need during the day.

 

maybe i just need a better camera....or learn how to use it haha i mean its just a point and shoot but its got a lot of features that i have never explored lol

a tripod helps no matter what lol. no one can hold their hands as steady as one

 

word, but during the day you should be using a fast enough shutter speed not to need one.

think il do a test sometime, try one with tripod one without and the same settings.
