My new Project!!!
Just picked it up my 1993 RX7 FD this evening! Gonna be some time before it's up and running, has a lot of work to be done. Just a plain ole shell that came with a carbon fiber hood, flush mount headlights, what I believe to be a JDM front bumper, still has the wiring, and full interior. No engine, trans, or drivetrain.
Things in need:
-New seals all around
-New driver side outside door handle
-Interior cleaned
-New windshield
-Bumper installed
-Headlights installed
-Engine
-Trans
-Drivetrain
-A lot of wiring
-Brakes
-Rotors
-Wheels
-Tires
-Paint
I'm sure theres more but too tired to think. That and I haven't fully inspected on what exactly I will need.
Finally here are the pics!!!
First picked it up and pulled it back home with the wifes Trailblazer SS
First thing i did when i got home was wash it and hung the bumper on lol
Some nice asses

No lsx, its going to be a very unique build. She likes the running boards lol. Thanks guys, it's gonna be a blast to build this. This weekend I'm gonna finish stripping the engine bay, grind down some surface rust then treat it, and clean out the entire interior. As well as search for more parts that may need to be replaced.

it was $4500, which was cheap from what I found nearby. Came with cf hood, clean and full interior, wiring, bumper with R1 lip, and headlights. So I thought it was a good deal considering someone else was selling theirs for $5500 with less
edit: the 7 is pushed farther into the garage lol

almost forgot I had this here! lol.. As of recent much hasn't happened, school and a deployment got in the way of my progress. Since I've gotten back I sold the R1 bumper to get my 99 spec one, picked up headlight assemblies with brand new covers, and picked up an engine .. This week I'll be receiving my bonus and buying engine internals, transmission, bell housing, harnesses, and other odds and ends.. pretty excited! As for recent progress I finished up removing the harness a few under the hood components as well as the interior..

I am so incredibly jealous right now! Those are a f*cking blast to drive!! I would love to have one with a 20B in it. But alas I dont have an extra $12k to spend building a motor like that let alone even buy the shell. Since the F&F movies, those cars have pulled a hell of a premium down here.
