Lol you can only drink the water if you boil it for at least 3 minutes to kill the bacteria, other than that is the freshest cleanest water you can swim in. I got a virus that was spreading through the campground. The emergency room in Reedley was disgusting, it was tiny, there was blood all over the bathroom floor and walls, and the people weren't helpful. We left there and went to the General Hospital emergency room of Fresno, and the wait was 7 hours. We were prepared to wait it out until some guy who had been stabbed by gang members came in, my mom felt unsafe so we left.

We decided to stay in a hotel room despite my agony and get up early to go to another emergency room in Clovis. The first hotel was infested with roaches, so we left and found another which was ok. Got up early, went to the emergency room and the doctor said there was no medication he could give me, I just had to wait it out, which was awesome. Driving around to all hours of the night only to hear there was nothing I could do but wait for it to pass. Oh and we almost got a speeding ticket on the way back up the mountain. It was a great day lol.

No medication, he told me to not eat anything but drink plenty of gatorade. Central California is disgusting.

 

I have been lucky I used to have a creek behind my old house that I used to drink from. I never got sick in the 8 years I did it. I know better but sometimes I am stupid for a smart guy LOL. I could survive almost anywhere though because I will eat almost anything.

Lol the gatoride diet wasn't too bad! And of course the very next morning I was feeling fine lol.
