need help converting video

Ok, so I took the first ever video of my car today. It's kinda crappy, but it was a spur of the moment thing and my car really isn't anything special. Thing is, it's in .MOV format and I don't know how to convert it to something else so I can post it up on streetfire or somethin so you guys can see it.

I didn't know if I should put this in here or in the Lounge, but I figured I'd get a better response in this section. I'm kinda computer illiterate, so someone is prolly gonna have to break this down step by step for me lol

Mods-sorry if this is in the wrong section. If so, I'll move it. I just wanna know how to convert this damn file lol

.mov is a quicktime file, and you shouldn't have a problem uploading that kind of file.

streetfire says jpeg, gif, or png format. Is there a different site i can use that'll do .mov? I've tried uploading it 3 times and it doesn't work. Maybe streetfire is just being dumb right now...

try youtube. how big is the file, and what program did you get it on the computer with? Or did you just transfer it from the camera to computer.

straight from memory card to the computer...in fact, the sd card is still in the slot lol It's only a 13 second video, so it can't be that big.

EDIT: attemtping youtube....i never use it that often, i completely forgot about it

Youtube worked...it's processing now. That'll prolly take forever and a day.
