Well my wing came in and I threw it on unpainted to get an idea of what is looks like, thought I would snap some pics. I am really happy with the quality as I have been with all of Rksport's products thusfar. I hated the factory "shopping cart" wing. I like how smooth this wing looks, and it goes with the body lines better in my opinion. Will look great painted. Only one downer, the salesman at Rksport told me it utilized the factory ss mounting holes which it doesn't, i'll have to patch a few. ;( This means more money at the body shop so how you see it is probably how it'll be at the bash.

I also through on a flowmaster exhaust, which sounds really deep and smooth, i love it. However this is temporary until Borla releases an exhaust sytem for the SS.. I will upload a video clip of my car doing passes sometime this week.

Next thing after getting the wing painted and installed is to get rid of the rally car wheel gap.

is that the exhaust sticking out in the last pic? if it is it looks nasty IMO. it sticks out too much. the spoiler i would have to wait till it's painted to match the car.

Hehe, you guys do have good eyes! LOL Yes the exhaust tip was actually the stock one temporarily welded to the exhaust because it was the only one we had at the time. My wing get's painted, and exhaust gets fixed tommorrow. I know how to do cars right trust me, this car won't be half assed at all. Here's my old cavalier I just sold to get the SS.








The Cobalt will look way nicer, trust me. I'll keep you all posted.

That was a nice cavy that you gave up, i like how you did it in white, thats the first nice white cavy i have seen.

 

That's a nice new wing. I like it. It looks similar to the Z24 wings.

It also makes the SS have a striking resembalance from the side to it's sister car, the Redline.

 

could you get a picture from the inside looking threw the rearview mirror or something so that i could see how much viewing area there is?
