I've never called it our firehouse, always referred to it as the fire hall or fire department. We have 7 trucks and 1 trailer though. 3 Engines, 1 water tender, 1 grass, 1 rescue, 1 100ft ladder, and our haz mat trailer.

Nice. How do you like the tower ladder? There's none anywhere around us at all.

Ive actually never seen it used yet, its on the opposite side of town from this firehouse but everyone around this area has them. Its alot easier to use with taller buildings.

Ahh, we don't have many tall buildings luckily. More of a rural area. We actually have the only 100' ladder in the county. I'll get some pics of our trucks and try this app with them to see if they come out like yours did.

yeah having alot of apartment buildings up to 8 stories is why we have 2 ladder companies, gets a little crazy, plus being 30 miles out of NYC just incase they ever call mutual aid like they did Westchester county wide for the 9-11 terror attacks

Ahh. Does NYC call for aid very often? Last year was the first year Detroit had called for outside help in over 40 years, and that's only because they had 88 separate structure fires in 1 day.

Yea. Those darn big cities thinking they're too good for help Granted they usually have plenty of manpower and apparatus to cover anything.

Nice. I think Troy is the largest volunteer in Michigan IIRC, but with the way things are going here Flint, which is the 3rd largest city in the state, may turn into volunteer departments.
