New projects
new tailights came in. was gonna tint em like 10% and add pearl like my black on my car, but after i got them i realized there already a bit smoked. happy about that. there not a bright red but more of a darker maroon. pretty cool. Anyways think im just gonna leave em like this.
After n Before ^
Tommorows project:
Orange CCFL's for 3rd Gen's
Also gonna finish and install my gauge pod tommorow and install it
And now Work Pics! I work at Advantage Auto Reconditioning where I live. We specialize in Paintless Dent Repair but also pretty much do anything we possibly can to a car besides mechanical work. We are located inside a tire shop so they do all the mechanical work 15 feet to my left. But my Boss is one of the best Paintless Dent guys in the area by far. Hes amazing with what he can get out of a car and hes been training me to do dent work since about april. While im still training (it takes awhile to get fast at it) in PDR and on hourly pay and not commision like the PDR techs, I do all the headlight restoration, Color Correction, scratch repair, buff n touchups, dissasemble all car parts related to removing dents for the techs (headliners for roof dents, tailights for 1/4 panels, bumpers if its needed for anything etc.) Anyways we do work for all of the dealerships around the area and retails so i drive about every freaking car out there. Heres some cool pics i took and put on my facebook since i started working
headlight resoration:
Buff n touchup im still in the process of working on for a retail customer. Really effud up, dented up, oxidized Infinity. Its turning out pretttty good
and a quick pic of a day at the shop. or an hour i shoudld say as we fly thorough cars
I was takign dents out of that white miata in the background. that sucker is FUN to drive!! I like them

yea its pretty awsome i like it. cant wait to become a full time dent tech and not deal with the buffing bullshit lmao. Buffing is the WORST job! frustrating man. That first few pics of the infinity iv put 10 hours into it today. But 10 hours into this turd and by the end of the day it was pitch black out and theres not enough light in the shop to see if theres any compounding swirls left on the car so i have to go in tommorow morning to finish polishing the car since i just ran out of light and didnt wanna deliver it tonight if i wasnt positive on it. plus workign on it that long and polishing a black car is a nightmare. and after 10 hours ur gettting soar and frustrated and its hard to leave it with no swirls under those conditions

its all dealer cars bro 99% of the time. customers drop there cars off and all we do is just pull them from the bay doors up front when there done. dealer cars we usually drive to the lot, pick the car up and drive it across town to the shop. yea we have a good time in them if we wanna. nothing reiduclous no donuts. but when the light turns green ill mash it

i love 3rd gens. i love how the angle of the lights kina follows my eyelid and give it an agressive look. I really want to shave down the LED holes, fill them, and respray it to just delete the LED's
